King Charles III shared a "rare" personal update concerning his cancer diagnosis on Thursday (August 22) while visiting with families affected by the Southport knife attack.
According to E!News, the beloved royal payed his respects to the town where three young children died by stabbing at a dance studio last month, and townspeople were sure to inquire about his health.
"I'm not too bad," the monarch revealed of his current condition as he navigates life with a form of cancer undisclosed to the public. King Charles III announced his cancer diagnosis in February 2024 and returned to public engagements on April 26th, upon which Buckingham Palace noted he was "very grateful to his medical team for their continued care and expertise."
In May, the 75-year-old royal revealed that he lost his sense of taste as a side effect of undergoing chemotherapy. King Charles III is not the only member of the British royal family currently undergoing cancer treatments, as Kate Middleton unveiled earlier this year that she was diagnosed with abdominal cancer and asked for privacy as she attempts to battle the disease.
Information regarding what form of cancer the King possesses has yet to be revealed as he proceeds with chemotherapy treatments.
